The Towncast Podcast (2023)

Interviewer: Flavio Romeo (The Towncast Podcast)

Role: Interviewee/speacker

I was delighted to have Flavio interview me for his local podcast The Towncast.  We filmed it right in Glen Rock, NJ at The Stone and Rail Restaurant over a beer.  I had a blast and I wish it could have been longer but it gives you a great insight into my background and current research projects.  Enjoy.

BLOOMINGDALE AN AMERICAN SMALL TOWN DOCUMENTARY (2018)

Roles: Research and interviewee on film

I was featured in the full length documentary about the town of Bloomingdale, NJ where Camp Bergwald, a German American Bund summer camp, once stood.  Click on the link to see the section of the documentary on Federal Hill where the camp ruins can still be seen today.

Self Produced with Tower Studios, LLC.

This is a self produced short film I made on Camp Bergwald, a German American Bund camp located in Bloomingdale and Riverdale, NJ.  It combines drone footage from 2017 and archival footage from the 1930's.

Glen Rock TV filmed one of the first presentations I gave on the Nazi Spy and put in online.  Although the presentation has evolved and changed over the years, this gives you a small insight on what it is about.  This particular one runs long… I was new to this and fielded a lot of questions from the audience.  My presentation now runs a consistent one hour.  It also covers a lot more about what happened after the Schiphorst family was deported.

This is a self produced teaser trailer made for the premier of my history lecture on the Nazi Spy from Gen Rock sponsored by the Glen Rock Historical and Preservations Society.
